Vicki, me and Jacko drove off over the Mendips to Burrington Combe. We walked from the car park up to the right side and the potholes. We walked up with some great views across the north somerset and Jacko even though being very small jumped up the steps and on to the moorland. We walked around by the woods and down a lane back to the car.
It was a sunny day and we drove on to a pub in Priddy. It was too cold to sit outside so we went in and met a very friendly bar man who gave Jacko some pork scratchings. There were quite a few dogs in the place, a jack russell with a young family and later a labrador and we watched an elderly lady chase her dog around the car park when he slipped his lead.
We had a lovely meal in the pub - and the bar man was very jovial and friendly. We then drove off with JAco to Charterhouse to the lovely countryside littered with Roman lead mines and black stones littered all over the place. A wild lonely place where we saw a Hare who stared out Jacko.
