Vic and Holly set off for Llantony priory campsite again last night but I could not come because of our choir rehearsal. I got a call at 10.30pm to say she was lost - she eventually found the right way but because of lack of signal I wouldn't hear anything until the next morning.
I made my way over the bridge this morning in fine weather and headed off to the campsite where I found Vic and Holly who got there late last night.
We cooked our meal and Holly had a game on the tyre before we set off for the roof of the world - the left side of Gospel Pass where we walked for a while and admired the fantastic scenery. Some people cycled up the path !!!
After the walk we went to the Granary in Hay and then back to the campsite. Vici made a friend with a little Yorkshire Terrior who wanted some meat from the sausages she was cooking for Holly and I stroked him. However he made his way to our neighbour who suddenly saw red and stopped around the campsite with the dog in her arms shouting 'whose is this dog.' A quiet owner owned up and said lady lost her rag and stomped off shouting 'I came here for a peaceful weekend!!' Meanhwhile half the campsite found this amusing which made her shout 'I'm glad you find it amusing.' I didn't like her much and felt camping is not really the place for a peaceful weekend as such.
